Terms and Conditions

By entering the competition, you hereby accept the terms and conditions of Wild Visions 3rd.

Registration:

  1. Registration link opens on Tuesday 5th September 2023 and closes on Tuesday, 10th October 2023 by midnight
  2. Submissions are allowed only through online registration on the website wildvisions.in. Entries received through E-mail, WhatsApp, Facebook will not be considered for the competition.
  3. Photos submitted in the previous edition of Wild Visions (Selected or Rejected) cannot be submitted again
  4. Topics Are;

  3. Birds in Action
  4. Miniature World (Macro)
  5. Tiger

For Students

  • Birds
  • Animals
  • Macro
  1. A title and a brief storyline about the photograph are compulsory and the information should be complete, true and accurate.
  2. The competition is open for all age groups, kindly choose at the start of the form, if you have an open registration or a school student
  3. Registration fee for this competition is Rs. 750/- (Non-Refundable). You can upload maximum 10 photographs, with maximum 4 photographs per category.
  4. For School Students (upto 10th standard), participation is free of cost. Parents’ consent through email stating that they are aware of the competition as well as the rules and regulations and allow their child to participate, will be required.   5. You can change, add or delete your submitted photographs before the registration closes.
  6. The competition is only for Indian Nationals.
  7. Organizers, sponsors as well as partners are not allowed to participate.
  8. There will be 12 Awards in total, 1st, 2nd and 3rd in overall contest, 1 winner per category, 1 winner in School Students, 1 award for WE Mate category from Wildlife Expeditions (WE Mate category is for persons traveled with Wildlife Expeditions), 1 winner for Vlogging and 1 Winner for Photo Talk.
  9. Given awards can be redeemed only once in given stipulated time. Detailed usage instructions will be given with award given during ceremony.

Technical & Ethical Standards

  1. All photos must by in JPG format with RGB, and maximum of 3000 pixels on the longest side
  2. Minimum file size needs to be 2.00 MB for the photo to be considered for selection.
  3. Photographs received with borders, frames, signatures, names or watermarks will not be considered for judging
  4. Writing your name in the brief story or on the file name is not allowed
  5. Images once submitted cannot be withdrawn or replaced at any point of time after the last date of registration
  6. Acceptable post processing – Basic RAW editing is permitted in terms of brightness, contrast, sharpness, White Balance etc. Color manipulations, adding or removing elements from the image are strictly not allowed. 
  7. Once your photos are selected, you may be contacted to share RAW file. If the photo was not shot in RAW, original unprocessed JPG file will need to be shared
  8. Jury may request the participant to share a series of RAW images shot before and after the selected photographs to check the authenticity. If the participant fails to provide, the image will be disqualified.
  9. The RAW files will be deleted from our side once the verification process is completed.
  10. The subject should not be disturbed while being photographed.
  11. Nest Photography is not allowed.
  12. Photographs of captive/ caged/ domestic/ zoo animals will not be considered for selection.
  13. Any breach of the rules and regulations, the photograph/ photographs will be disqualified.
  14. Organizers have the right to disqualify or remove any entry, which does not comply with the rules, and the entries which are subject to copyright issues.
  15. Once your photo is selected for the exhibition, you will have to share your high-resolution printable file
  16. No Animal or bird should be harmed during the suit of these photographs. Images are to be taken in their natural habitat & or during rescue missions.

Judging Process

  1. During judging, jury will have right to move entries from one category to another, where they considered it to be appropriate
  2. Once the judging process is complete, organizers will contact the participants via email to share the results
  3. Decision taken by jury and organizers will be considered final

Exhibition

  1. Exhibition will be held in October 2023. Organizer’s reserve the right to reschedule the exhibition date & month if required.
  2. All selected images will be displayed at the exhibition
  3. Winners announcement and the prize distribution will be conducted during the exhibition
  4. For the award ceremony, participants are allowed to bring along 4 people from their family and friends circle
  5. Kindly note that the exhibition dates mentioned are tentative and are subject to change as per the guidelines issued by the Government in light of the recent COVID 19 situation or any other natural calamities.

Fees and Charges

  1. Registration fee for this competition is Rs. 750/- (Non-Refundable).
  2. For School Students (upto 10th standard), participation is free of cost.
